use such internet maps as Getmapping.com. However, here are the ways
I would take you to Heather Cottage. They are not necessarily the shortest but possibly the easiest routes.
From the
M3, take Junction 4 signposted to
A331 Aldershot and Farnham. Go
to the end and take the signs to Guildford A31. On taking the A31,
take the first exit ( within 200 metres ) signed to Runfold, Seale &
Tongham and take the first left. This brings you down to a
T-junction at which you turn left. This leads under the slipway and
to your right. Take the first right to Seale. After approximately
one mile, you enter Seale with the village sign on your left just
before some houses also on your left. Take the first right into
Seale Lane. After almost a mile you will see Seale Nurseries on your
right. Just after the nurseries, take the first left, at the crossroads, into Binton Lane.
After another mile or so, there is a severe right bend near some Farnham Golf Club signs warning you about golfers
crossing the road. After the right hand bend, take the first left into The Green. This is only
about 100 metres long. Turn left into Littleworth Road. You will see
the Barley Mow Pub on your right. Go up the hill. After the track to
LONG HILL on the right, we are the next house up the
hill on the right ( or the 3rd telegraph pole!). If you telephone me
at the Barley Mow I will come to the gate and greet you.
From the
Farnham
side take the A31 to Guildford.
Take the first exit
signed to Runfold, Seale & Tongham. When you have gone over the A31,
you will turn right at the T-junction and first left into Crooksbury
Road. After the severe left & right bend, turn left into Sands Road.
This becomes Littleworth Road after Farnham Golf Club on your left. You will see
the Barley Mow Pub on your right. Go up the hill. After the track to
LONG HILL on the right, we are the next house up the hill on the
right ( or the 3rd telegraph pole!). If you telephone me
at the Barley Mow I will come to the gate and greet you.
From the
Guildford
side.
approaching Farnham on the Hogs Back, take the slipway just before
the Hogs Back Hotel signed to Seale, Runfold & Tongham. At
the end, turn left to Seale. After approximately half a mile,
you enter Seale with the village sign on your left just before some
houses also on your left. Take the first right into Seale Lane.
After almost a mile you will see Seale Nurseries on your right.
